Creating GLUSTER was never too easy like I mentioned below. Follow my article

Environment

Centos 6.3

Nodes = 2

selinux = disabled

Add host file entries on both nodes

# yum install glusterfs-server
# service glusterd start
# service glusterd status
# Create directories with same names on all servers
# mkdir -p /data/brick1/gv0
# gluster volume create VOLUME_NAME replica 2 server1:/data/brick1/gv0 server2:/data/brick1/gv0
# gluster volume create gv0 replica 2 server1:/data/brick1/gv0 server2:/data/brick1/gv0
# gluster volume start gv0
# gluster volume info
Run the below command from a client machine / OR for checking run from any node
# mount -t glusterfs server1:/gv0 /mnt
